Chalkline · Privacy
Your drawings never leave your device.
Chalkline stores boards, versions and your library in your browser. Nothing you draw is ever sent anywhere. To know how many people visit and how fast the site loads, it counts anonymous page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, without cookies. This page lists everything that is counted.
Your choices
Your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, so nothing is counted on this device. The switches below stay off.
Count my visits to this sitePage visits, where you came from, browser and device type, loading speed. Takes effect from the next page you open.
What is counted
Each time a page of this site loads, Cloudflare Web Analytics records one visit. It uses no cookies, no local storage and no fingerprinting, and it does not follow you across other websites.
| Field | Example | Why |
|---|---|---|
| page | / or /privacy | Which page was opened. Anything after a ? in the address is dropped, and the editor never changes the address, so nothing about your boards appears here. |
| referrer | google.com | How people find the site |
| country | India | Worked out by Cloudflare from the connection; your IP address is not kept for analytics |
| browser, system, device type | Chrome, Android, mobile | Does the site work on every device? |
| loading speed | LCP 1.8 s, layout shift 0.02 | Is the site fast? |
Button clicks are not counted. The editor itself sends nothing.
What is never collected
- Anything on your boards: shapes, text, images, board names or file names.
- Cookies, advertising ids, fingerprints or accounts.
- Your IP address for analytics. Cloudflare uses it only to deliver the page and to work out the country.
